Jay Walsh becomes one with line level in "Gain Staging", part one of a multi-part article on getting our gear to work in harmony, while Glen Stephan continues with part 3 on his series on getting the most out of selecting nearfield monitors by introducing us to the "feng shui" of monitor placement.

In "Gain Staging", Jay gives us an easy-to-understand introduction to the way of gain structure with a simple explanation of  the ancient ways of VU and line level. This is part one of a multi-part treatise on, as Jay puts it so well, "how stuff is supposed to work together".

Over across the tracks, Glen releases part thre of his own series on nearfield monitors with "The Feng Shui of Monitors", explaing how one must let their monitors become one with the room before we can expect to get the sound that we want from them.

So realx, grab some oolong tea, and let your audio chi flow unblocked through your gear and the air. Oooommmmmmm...
